The list including lithium-based battery system (BS) and battery energy storage system (BESS) products that meet the Australian or international version of the lithium battery safety standard 62619:2017, provides consumers with independent information on the safety of home battery products that are independently tested to confirm they meet certain electrical safety and quality standards.
The application of CEC list includes four steps:
