The American Rechargeable Battery Recycling Corporation (RBRC) and the American Portable Rechargeable Battery Association (PRBA) have been established in the U.S. market to continuously promote and educate the public, raise public awareness of environmental protection, and guide the public to cooperate with the recycling of used batteries to protect nature surroundings. RBRC is a non-profit public service organization, mainly to promote the recycling of rechargeable batteries such as nickel-chromium batteries, nickel-metal hydride batteries, lithium-ion batteries and small sealed lead batteries. PRBA is a non-profit battery association composed of related battery companies. , Its main goal is to develop recycling plans and measures to promote the recycling of industrial batteries. RBRC provides three solutions to collect, transport and reuse used rechargeable batteries. Including (1) retail recycling programs; (2) community recycling programs; (3) corporate and public sector recycling programs. The Portable Rechargeable Battery Association (PBRC) mainly involves three aspects: (1) American DOT regulations on lithium-ion batteries, lithium metal batteries and related regulations during transportation; (2) CPSCRecall of laptop batteries and mobile phone batteries; (3) Main battery laws and regulations.
