Pand won a 45MWh cascade energy storage order in November 2020, which is the largest cascade battery application project in China and even the world so far. The cascade energy storage system delivered by Pand will be applied to the Nanjing Jiangbei Energy Storage Power Station by the State Grid. The energy storage body includes three parts: centralized, cascade utilization, and mobile energy storage power stations. According to estimates, after the completion of the Jiangbei Energy Storage Power Station, it can provide 500,000 kWh of electricity during the peak daily power consumption period, meeting the daily electricity consumption of 220,000 residents. It is reported that the cascade utilization of energy storage (utilization of used power batteries) will build 20,000 kW in this phase and in the future, including 15,000 kW cascade lithium batteries and 5,000 kW cascade lead-acid batteries, to recycle used power batteries, extend battery life, and achieve power Maximize battery resource utilization.

With the further popularization of electric vehicles, the market share of electric vehicles is increasing, and the retirement of batteries is close to the tuyere. In the next step, how to maximize the benefits of decommissioned batteries, how to use resources more effectively to reduce environmental pollution, and how to create a closed loop of the industrial chain. Both are important issues that will be faced in the future. Plande has been deeply involved in the lithium battery recycling industry for many years, and has core technologies such as battery regeneration, life extension, maintenance, and material recycling. In terms of lithium elevator utilization, it forms an industry complement to the State Grid. The two parties are also actively discussing the expansion of Plande’s reproduction line to East China jointly established a cascade utilization plant to connect the cascade utilization technology with the green grid to create an environmentally friendly, highly economical, safe and stable power supply environment.
